How to calculate gross salary and total cost for the company

To calculate what money it will cost the company and what amount to write in the contract, the following coefficients should be used.

EXAMPLE For salaries UP TO 2600 Gross* or 2 038.14 Net**</strong > :
Desired salary 1000 BGN net.
Total expenses for the company is 1.50274 * 1000 = 1 502.74 BGN per month.
Contract amount is 1.27567 * 1000 = 1 275.67 per month.

EXAMPLE For salaries OVER2600 Gross or 2 038.14 Neto :
The first 2,600 Gross or 2,038.14 Net is calculated as the example above.
Each BGN added to 2,038.14 net salary must be divided by 0.9 to convert it into gross salary.
Desired salary BGN 2,400.00 net.

a) For 2038.14 net
Total expenses for the company is 1.50274 * 2038.14= BGN 3062.80 per month.
Amount under contract is 1.27567 * 2038.14= 2 600.00 per month.

b) For BGN 361.86 net (2400.00 – 2 038.14)
Total expenses for the company are BGN 361.86/ 0.9= < BGN 402.07 per month
Amount under contract is BGN 361.86/ 0.9 = BGN 402.07 per month

Together a) + b) :
Gross: 2,600 + 402.07 BGN = 3,002.07 BGN
Net: 2038.14 + 361.86 = BGN 2,400.00
Total expenses for the company: BGN 3062.80 + BGN 402.07 = BGN 3464.87

*Gross – the salary that is recorded in the contract.
**Net – the net salary that the person will receive.
